Food walking tour PV or Mazatlan

Thinking about doing food tour during Thanksgiving week.  any suggestions and is PV or mazatlan better

Have personally done 3 of the Vallarta Food Tours and thoroughly enjoyed all of them. Have no experience with a Mazatlan. 

We are resort vacationers and these tours opened up a culinary side of Vallarta the typical tourist can't appreciate.

About three years ago we did it in PV and it was awesome! Great food, awesome tour guide, and a lot of fun for a good price! I highly recommend it. We went through Vallarta Food Tours

Never done a food tour in either, but PV has better food than Mazatlan in general, for what that is worth. If the PV food tour is in the Zona Romántica, that would be my choice.

Flavor Teller does a very nice food tour in Mazatlán.  We've done it a couple of time and enjoyed it each time.

 

In addition to Vallarta Food Tours, there's also Vallarta Eats.  We've used both and they're both very good.

I've gone with Vallarta Food Tours and they were great. Did a Segway tour in Mazatlan, saw people eating lobsters at a restaurant in the old city plaza, and returned after the tour to eat there. I think the lobster meal and margarita were about $24.

The one in PV looks like it starts at a park. Did you just take a taxi to the start and end location from the cruise terminal?

I took a taxi there and walked back.
