Ocean Cay questions

Hi,

 

I have a couple questions about Ocean Cay:

 

1. What will temperature be like in mid March?

2. Are there still lots of jellyfish at the beach?

3. What are the rental prices for equipment such as stand up paddle board and kayaks?

Ocean Cay is directly east of Miami so temps will likely be in the low-80's. However, I have been in Miami during late March when a cold front has pushed through and it can be windy and chilly in the mid-60's. This is unusual though.

We were recently there four days and at two beaches saw no jellies.  We did have folks say they saw jellies and sharks.  That was one person each.  YMMV.

Was at OC this past Monday and Tuesday and did not see any jelly fish, or any other kind of fish. The water was beautiful. 
Didn’t rent a paddle board or kayak nor did I see anyone that did but there weren’t many of us there. 

We rented an umbrella for $12 (pre cruise price) and 2 floating mats for $15 ea (also pre cruise price) 
 

Ocean Cay is beautiful it was our favorite port this cruise. 
Temps were mid 70’s and a little windy but we still swam in the lagoon

Was there three weeks ago, they stopped twice during our week cruise.  First week of November was perfect when sunny, bit chilly when cloudy the 2nd day.  If you want an umbrella, you can rent on the main beach or the closer beach right next to the lighthouse had a good number of free chairs/beanbag loungers/umbrellas that have no charge.  The main beach had free chairs but no shade at all, plus had to pay for umbrella rental there
