May I suggest you post this question on the MSC Message Board?  I sailed on MSC Meraviglia in January, 2020.  I don't recall "push" to make a future cruise booking.  But, I could well have missed it.  There's lot of folks on the MSC Message Board who have more experience with the company than I do.
