Independent excursions possible or not RCI ( Caribbean ports )

Hi everyone,

 

How are you all doing ? hope all is well.

 

End of januari we are going on 3 cruises on the  Allure b2b and the Freedom

and I am trying to find out  if we are allowed to explore these ports on our own or not.

Normally we book a cab, rent a car  or walk the port or rent a spot for a snorkel excursion but now I have no idea if we can get off the ship without booking an excursion.

ports are  Cozumel / Mexico          Roatan / Honduras           Costa Maya / Mexico    

 Nassau    Charlotte Amalie (St. Thomas) / US Virgin Islands    Philipsburg (Sint Maarten) / Lesser Antilles           

Basseterre (St. Kitts) / Lesser Antilles

It's on their website, but I believe St. Kitts is the only one you are visiting that you will have to take a RCCL bubble tour.

Fully vaccinated as of right now you are allowed to roam freely on your own at all those port stops except for St Kitts

One caveat for some, is that Barbados is requiring ONLY bubble tours for ports if the ship comes back to Barbados.

 

So YMMV.
