Travel with children

I suggest also having a letter signed by your husband stating that he's consenting to your travel with the children from whatever the timeframe is. I'd suggest getting it notarized. You may or may not be asked for it, but it's good to have just in case.

Not really necessary, as both parents have to sign the passport application (for US passports).  By signing both parents acknowledge that the child is permitted to travel outside the country.

 

But, since it's just a piece of paper, it couldn't hurt.
