24hr in port before disembarking TA

I’m currently on Getaway TA and I believe we will spend 24hr in port of Miami before allowed to disembark. If anyone returned recently from a TA I have a couple questions.

Since they have so long to process everything can I expect to be able to self-disembark  by 7am?  I can switch to an earlier flight (10:28am) if I could be sure of timing.

2. When sitting in port can I turn off airplane mode and use my Verizon phone services? I don’t want to engage ships roaming but I sure would like to stream videos if stuck in port for 24 hours after 8 at sea days. My $399 basic internet package can’t handle anything except some googling and email.

Yes.  In fact, I believe the ship's cell tower is turned off when within a certain range of the coast.
