free vs voom vs stream and voom

Depending on the ship your on (whether it has the O3B or not), posting pictures on surf and stream can be mind numbingly slow as well.  If you're doing only occasional pictures, Surf would be enough, but if its more frequent, spend the extra for the surf and stream option to save your sanity.  When they say "stream" it means you have the capability to stream, but the huge ping causes a fairly bad delay and trying to fast forward through streaming material can be cumbersome.

If you resize your images before posting they'll transfer much easier over Voom.

 

These days the typical smartphone creates relatively large image files compared to what is needed on social media.  I have an app on my phone that resizes images and they transfer much faster over Voom.
