The Alcoves

I have been thinking about doing a Alcoves cabana on a port day on the Silhouette.

Anyone have an experience to share ?

Is smoking allowed in the Alcoves ?

My friends and I rented an Alcove on a Reflection sea day a few years back.  Sorry, we were not impressed.  I believe we are just as much, if not more, comfortable poolside in a relaxing deck chair.  We had one recliner in the Alcove and a small couch.  We also did not get any of the perks that were supposed to be included (at that time, it was bottled water, some snacks and perhaps a bottle of wine).  When we tracked down an attendant, we were told that because we weren't in the Alcove when they tried to deliver it, they took it back.  Turns out we were at the Lawn Club Grill having lunch at the time of delivery...wasn't aware that there was a set time for delivery.  In the end, Celebrity comped us for the lunch.  That was awhile ago and perhaps they have new systems in place to make sure you get everything you purchased.

Don't want to discourage you, but I look forward to having an empty ship on a port day...no need to pay extra for real estate.

Apologies..can't answer the question about smoking.

I will presume that since the Alcoves are not listed as a designated smoking section, and in fact are contained within non-smoking areas (the lawn and surrounding walkways), the answer is no.  Presumably, someone will be able to tell you from actual experience.
