Mandatory testing on the ship?

I have my first X cruise next week and had a quick (possibly stupid) question: does Celebrity test all/random passengers on board, or only those identified as close contacts to a positive case (or have symptoms)?

Thanks and sorry if this should have been known already.

Not a stupid question. They test when someone is sick. They don't do random tests. If someone on the ship tests positive they then test others that have been in contact with them.

Additionally, foreign passengers requiring a negative test to return home can request testing onboard, typically conducted on the last full day of the cruise. Depending on their requirements, it can be either an antigen or PCR test.
