WoodyWindy Posted December 24, 2021 #1 Share Posted December 24, 2021 MSC has decided to name their ship "Seaview". So, enquiring minds want to know... Does it include excursions on a Flying Sub? (And, for those who don't get it, I'll explain later if needed...)

WoodyWindy Posted December 27, 2021 Author #7 Share Posted December 27, 2021 And now, for those who need a little reminder... Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea was a science fiction movie and TV series in the mid 1960s, created by Irwin Allen. The show chronicled the adventures of the crew of the (SSRN) Seaview. The later seasons of the TV show added the "Flying Sub" as a plot device (analogous to the "shuttle craft" used on Star Trek) to get the characters out of the water more often, as by then the show had somewhat deteriorated into a "monster of the week" motif.
