PASSPORTS Valid for 6 mos Brazil

I don't know where to post this if you think it should be posted in another area please go ahead. I thought people planning on purhasing a cruise to the ports listed should have a early heads up. Brazil and other ports listed in the link have a 6 mos. minimun before passport expire.

Sounds like a Government CMA. Trying to make sure you have some leeway on the passport for any reason you end up staying longer than intended. I had to read the line twice because the first time I thought it ment a passport was only good for 6 months total. :eek:

That rule is for every place you visit that requires a passport, not just Brazil. Countries like Brazil, that also require visas, say that passports must be valid for AT LEAST 6 months beyond your visit. I know this because I just applied for my Brazilian visa this morning.
