14 day cruise vs 7 day B2B

We are doing a 14 day cruise on the Regal.  Many are doing the same cruise as a b2b.  Will we be required to leave the ship on turn around day and will we be required to take a new Covid test after 7 days like the b2b. cruisers?

From what I understand, it's still 2,  7 day cruises, even if booked at a 14 day.  

 

Yes, you will still have to get offship.  The ship has to be completely cleared before next cruise boards, this includes b2b.

When I sailed on the Caribbean Princess last month, a lot of people were doing 14-day cruises. They tested the afternoon before the turnaround day. One woman I met did not realize that her 14-day cruise was really two 7-day cruises back to back. 

 

The good news is that if you're a shareholder or military, you'll get the credit for a 14-day cruise if that's how you booked it ($250 vs. $200 for two 7-day cruises). But even when you book it as one cruise instead of two, you'll get two cruise credits.

So they were free to leave the ship early in the morning to go to a beach or shopping as soon as the ship was cleared.
