Miami Hotel - late arrival and early check out

I am looking for recommendations for a hotel for our cruise out of Miami. We live in Central Florida but don't want to risk the four hour drive the morning of our cruise. Since we work the day before, we won't be arriving at the hotel until 10pm. Just looking for a CLEAN, safe hotel with free parking that won't cost us an arm and a leg. No need for fancy or elaborate as we will literally be walking in and going to sleep and getting up the next morning for our 11:30 check in time. Thanks for any help. The reviews on all the travel sites can be misleading.

La Quinta East - near MIA and next door to the Embassy Suites - should fit your needs.  Otherwise look at Hampton Inn Blue Lagoon.

Be very careful with Miami hotels.  Trying to find a bargain can sometimes get you in very bad areas in a bad hotel.

 

I would follow John's advice.  However, don't leave your car at an airport hotel while you go on the cruise.

 

FWIW, hotels run on the premise of late check in/early check out.
