There are still loungers on the deck 3 walk like the ones shown?

There was not when we were on her in Jan. There was a make shift smoking area with a few benches. They had also roped off an area for crew smoking. At that time, crew could only be on deck for their shift (if on Lido) or to smoke. They could also dine in half of the BBQ place on 10. It was sectioned off as well. I believe the restrictions have lifted some, but I’m not sure if those loungers have returned. I’ll be back on her in 24 days. I’ll check it out if you want.

Deck 3 is the best kept secret.  It's like having your own private huge balcony.  Always quiet (if you want that) and hardly in use; at least for the first 4-5 days until others figure out it's there.

Yes, it really is.

 

My original plan was to book an inside cabin with a 4 day'er on Liberty, with one of those insane rates they are offering now and use deck 3 as our balcony.

 

As I searched a little further, I found a cruise a week earlier on Freedom with a balcony cabin only $9.00pp more than the inside on Liberty.

We are retired and live close to PC so it's a no brainer for us.

 

Some of these current VIFP rates are unbelievable.

It will cost more to board the dog for four days than the cost of a balcony cabin for two!

I just got off the Liberty on Friday and there were no loungers on Deck 3 that I saw.

There are no loungers out there now. I just got off yesterday.
