I've enjoyed staying there in the past. Location is great with easy access to Bayside and most of the rest of Downtown/Brickell with the Metromover being half a block away. Hopefully whoever takes over the site will either remodel or build something good.

According to the Miami Herald:  the developers behind the deal plan to tear down the 10 story hotel and build a 77 story mixed use building in its place.

It was a great location and there are so many new hotels in the Brickell area which is just a short train ride away from Bayside.
