Currently sailing on the Sky, 4 day Bahamas cruise. I couldn’t find much info before I went, so thought I’d post a few things while we are going so others have an idea.

This is my first short cruise and first cruise on a smaller ship, I’ve done the escape and encore before. Nice little ship but definitely older than those 2. Also has more of a party spring break feel.

we got upgraded from an inside cabin to a balcony—I bid just over the minimum which was $75/pp, and I bid $80/pp and happily got the balcony.

haven’t hit any restaurants yet besides local, but did stop by the crossings to make our reservation for cagneys, so I snagged a pic of their menu. I will say local has a pared down menu compared to the encore’s local but it was still yummy for some late night tipsy snacks.

Spent most of the day by the pool, ate at the buffet yesterday. About to head up and see how it is and if beach loungers are available or how that all is! So happy to be cruising ❤️

Definitely don’t think it’s at full capacity, but I don’t know the exact numbers. Not having to wait for elevators, got to sing a couple times in quick succession at karaoke last night, 😂, and zero issues getting a pool lounger at 9 am. Pool area did start filling up around 11.  Buffet…and mimosas for breakfast. Living the best life 😍

Day 3! Very excited, I hear this great stirrup caye is their private island—drink package supposedly applies here, which is awesome and online tells me that all food is free on the island, will update later on if that is true.

plans for the beach and actually getting in the ocean today.

yesterday was a pool day, weather was just perfect.  Just a note…respect the Bahamas sun! I’ve been putting spf 70 on for the most part but didn’t reapply on my back and just used my spray 70…and I’m paying for it😂. Ate at crossings, very yummy, had a couple appetizers, I had the hake.

I’ll post the dailies too!

Yesterday was amazing. The private island and ocean are fantastic. Food and drinks are free on the island, they have a buffet but we ate at one of the 2 food trucks, delish. Glow party was last night, so if that’s your thing, bring some white clothes! Cagneys was amazing.

Thank you for your review! And enjoy your last night!! We are booked for next Friday, and I am debating whether to upgrade the drink package.  It’s worth it, or it’s not necessary?

I doubt it’s necessary! I’m able to drink grey goose, Ketel 1 etc on the regular one, they have many “top shelf” options with the normal one. And if you want something that is not on it, you just pay the difference. Normal one includes any drink up to $15, so if you want to try a $20 one, you’ll pay $5.
