Internet Question

Thought I'd ask a question not asked on the Canadian board yet (that I've seen).

My husband has the voom package for our cruise this Sunday.  What settings do we need to enable on the phone to make sure we aren't charged by Telus.  Can you put it on airplane mode and still use wifi?

LOL Yes I promise this is a real question, please don't laugh.

Put the phone in Airplane mode and then turn on WiFi. You will then be able to log into and use shipboard internet.

If your phone supports WiFi  calling you may be able to use the feature to make calls. Consult your cell carrier for details.

🙂 The question has been asked, different cruise line and carrier I believe.
