What group would you like be suprised to find out your cruising with.

At first I thought a group that didn't gamble thus making more room in the casino for me:D but then the realisation that they may make life in the casino a pain:eek: .

I can think of a few that I wont mention by name but would make for a pleasant visual cruise.

I don't think I would personally like to see a PETA group onboard. I would hate to have protesters outside the dining room when I am enjoying my prime rib and lobster!! LOL Nudists might be interesting though especially if they didn't fit on the F deck.

Whats wrong with PETA - People Eating Tasty Animals????

Gotta agree with the nudists. Maybe.

I have no problems whatsoever with that branch of PETA :D In fact I would have no problem with becoming a card carrying member. I probably should have added a comment on the nudists that they had to meet certain criteria in order to parade around. There are just some people out there that need to keep their clothes on!

Read a review a few weeks ago of a cruise on the GLORY where the reviewer was complaining because there was a large swingers convention onboard (no, not people who like parks...). I guess several of the lounges were closed during certain hours for their use... :p

I can't speak for a group cruise experience, but when I was a teen (mid-80's), I went with a church youth group to King's Island (KI gave the denomination a special rate for the day and youth groups from 6 states came...). It turns out that KI also booked "Gay Pride Day" for the same day...I know that it turned out to be a VERY educational day...;)

Can you imagine the laughter in the Group Sales Office at Kings Island when they came up with that one? "Hey, Bob ... let's book the group from PETA on the same day with the NRA!"

There are many I'd like to miss the boat with, but I agree with the gambling free! Maybe the gambling/cigarette/liquor/eating addicts all in recovery. Then the casino, bars and lines on the lido will be empty in a nonsmoking facility!! Oh, and none of them want to get a tan, so all the deck chairs will be open!

We were on the Carnival Spirit in Alaska a few years ago with a group cruise of Star Trek fans. When we found out they were going to be on the ship it was an "oh no" moment, but other than a few people who were "dressed up" in Starfleet Uniforms on formal night we didn't really notice them.

Hmmm maybe "The fraternal order of the Jedi" in their dress robes? Please check the light saber at the door.

I actually think they might fun to watch as I have always watched the shows. Hopefully they wore the more formal uniforms in the dining room and not the everyday ones. :p Hey at least they weren't wearing jeans!!!!

Now if the "Denim Wearers of America" plan a cruise that would really cause a stir! :D

I would be thrilled to find the OYOSMWAGELC on board.

(The Organization of 45-55 Year Old Single Men Who Are Gainfully Employed and Like to Cruise):D

That would be great:p , but I would like it to be the 40-50 yosmwagealtc on board. Plus maybe a couple over 75 for my mom!!:o

40-50 would be okay - I just prefer a slightly-older-than-me group. Thank God we are not on the same Glory cruise. There is already too much competition!

Hence the need for Clorox wipes when you first board...

They are usually interested in single YOUNG women--the old double standard.

Esp after seeing what's what on the F- deck.
