Umbrellas?

New to Oceania and doing the British Isles in 2023.

 

Are there umbrellas in the staterooms on the Riviera? I didn't see any indication of their presence in the amenities.

They were in the closet on our last (pre-COVID) cruise.  But even if they are not, you can request one from your butler or cabin steward.

The reason they're not mentioned is that it's a given that they'll be there. There will also be a barrel of them as you disembark if it's raining. At least that's been my experience in the past.

they are very large  good for kite sailing in a good wind

We take a small one of our own plus a rain jacket WITH a hood 🙂

We were on the Riviera in February and there are umbrellas in the closet, which are large enough for two.  Enjoy your cruise!

On Marina at the moment transatlantic. There is a large umbrella in the wardrobe. Hope we don’t need it though!!
