D4 Posted March 23, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 23, 2022 Yesterday and today I’ve been trying to buy a photo package for our cruise sailing this Sunday 3/27/2022. I can add it to the cart but it won’t let me check out. I attached a screenshot. The cruise planner says you can purchase items up to 48 hours before your cruise. Sign into cruise planner, add something to your cart, and then go to the checkout screen where it asks for payment details to see if you get the same “We’re sorry” message in red. I’m on Oasis right now and decided yesterday that I want the photo package for the second cruise of our B2B. The cruise planner says you can buy items up to 48 hours before sailing. I kept trying to buy the package for several days, using 4 different browsers on two different iphone models. I got the same error every time. (I’m on the ship now and didn’t bring a laptop.) I went to Guest Services today. They couldn’t help me, but did offer to let me call the toll free Royal online support phone number from my cabin at no charge. I was passed around to many phone reps. I spent over 2 hours on the phone; luckily the cabin phone had a speakerphone option. I considered hanging up many times. The last person acknowledged that website has some issues and was able to purchase the package for me. Unfortunately, the package went up by $25 since yesterday, but I still got a decent deal.
