fstuff1 Posted March 27, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 27, 2022 I'm currently on the Getaway. I spoke to a casino host and she said points now expire after 18 months! She made it sound like the points I earned since cruise restart (Sept 2021) counts for the 4/1/22 - 3/31/23 casino year. 😮 Then again, I've known hosts to be wrong before... SeaShark Posted March 27, 2022 #2 Share Posted March 27, 2022 What is the problem (this time)? Does what the casino host said conflict with the terms and conditions of the program? What do you mean "made it sound like"? Could be that the problem is in your interpretation more than what you were actually told. Did you ask for clarification? fstuff1 Posted March 27, 2022 Author #3 Share Posted March 27, 2022 (edited) Even though no one replied to this thread, I'm going to update: The Points itself last 18 months. Those are the points that you can convert to freeplay/ obc. So you need to play at least once every 18 months to keep those points. So 18 months sounds like a bonus!!

I wonder if you had an NCL credit card and made purchases, would that keep the points active? A lot of the big casinos like Caesars Entertainment, MGM do that. Hearthosesteeldrumsplayin Posted March 29, 2022 #6 Share Posted March 29, 2022 I have an NCL credit card and on our recent Regent trip (Nov 21), our casino points were no longer available because of the 18 month rule (so doesn't seem like credit card affects longevity of points). I was rather bummed because I should have had a significant amount that I was bringing forward from travels, but CoVID got in the way of being able to use. Oh, Well! Not a deal breaker...but, it would have been nice to have an extension based upon the fact that we had multiple cruises cancelled on us!
