Encore - Mini Suite versus Veranda (also bed by veranda??)

Looking at the 21 night Encore Panama canal sailing.
 

What is the benefit of a "mini suite" versus a standard veranda?  Seem to be same size and layout? I assume does not include Haven.

 

Also how can I tell "bed by veranda" - is it cabin for 3 versus cabin for 4? Pullman versus sofa bed? which is which?

Mini Suite has much larger bathroom/shower than standard balcony cabins.  It does not include the Haven but you can book a SPA mini suite and get use of the spa.

For BA/BA Plus ship's...

 

With a standard balcony or Club Balcony, if it sleeps 4, the bed will be near the balcony, the sofabed will be near the closet, and the Pullman bed will be over the sofabed.

 

If it sleeps 3 (no Pullman), the bed can be in either location and the sofabed in the other. Most "sleeps 3" will have the bed near the closet.

 

Actual suites and aft-facing staterooms differ from the above info. Wheelchair accessible staterooms also differ (most of them sleep 2).

 

A Club Balcony (formally mini-suite) has some benefits....

We have never sailed with NCL before.   Do the staterooms below Club Balcony come with a hairdryer, or do I need to bring my own!

They come with a hair dryer.  It will likely be located under or by the main room desk instead of in the bathroom.
