Free Casino Royale Certificate Cruise Question

Recommended Posts

Hello,

My family is going on a cruise in May, fairly large family. My mother booked a room utilizing her free Casino Royale Cruise Certificate with my sister in the room. My mother might not be able to go any longer on the dates, will my sister still be able to board? Or will they only allow her if my mother is actually physically there? Thanks!

As stated by sandebeach, the person that the certificate was issued to must be present.

I would recommend calling Casino Royale now to explain the situation and see if they can offer a good option for your sister.  Good luck.

Are you sure about his? Because I did call previously, and spoke to a rep and they said it would be okay.. But i wasnt sure if that was entirely true, was wondering if a anyone had experience with it.

Call clubroyale but I am 99.9999% sure the casino member who was issued the certificate must be onboard.

They want that casino member to play in the casino.  Like any casino on land comping a hotel room so you stay and gamble more.

From the Casino Terms and Conditions. Look at the next to last sentence, it states "Recipients receiving the offer must sail in the redeemed stateroom".

Casino Offers and Instant Reward Certifcates must be used in accordance with the following terms and conditions:

1. Complimentary Stateroom Casino Offers and Complimentary Instant Certificate Rewards are valid for redemption on Royal Caribbean International for one (1) complimentary cruise fare only stateroom, including complimentary dining venues and entertainment for the qualified player in this communication (the “Recipient”) and one (1) guest, based on double occupancy, based on the ship(s), sail date(s) and itineraries (the Qualifying Sailings”) offered in the stateroom category(ies) on the email and/or in home invitation and/or Instant Reward Certificate, unless the Recipient instead elects to apply the trade in value, listed on the communication, to the purchase of a sailing not offered on the Qualified Sailings. This offer is not combinable with any other offers and is valid for Qualifying Sailing, subject to availability, within the “booked by” and “sail by date” restrictions. Exclusions include, but are not limited to, all taxes, fees and port expenses, online booking processing fee, if applicable, applicable fuel surcharges, upgrades, additional guests in the stateroom, additional staterooms, air and ground transfers to/from the embarkation and debarkation ports, and onboard expense account items for products and services rendered.  When an advertised trade in value is included in an offer, the trade in value is applicable as a credit toward the purchase on any sailing not listed on the Qualified Sailings. Qualified Recipients may upgrade the stateroom category offered or add 3 and 4 guests, based on availability at prevailing rates and additional applicable fees. Qualified Recipients within the same household from the same promotional event may combine their complimentary stateroom offers on the same sail date for one (1) category upgrade, not to exceed a Junior Suite or redeem their individual offers. Additional upgrades on combined casino offers will be subject to the cruise fare difference between the one (1) category combined upgraded stateroom price and the stateroom price selected to be berthed in. Recipients may choose to accept a lower category stateroom on Qualified Sailings but shall forfeit any value between the offer and the value of the lower category.  All port expenses, taxes and fees and online booking fee, if applicable, must be paid in full in order to receive a stateroom confirmation.  All complimentary Stateroom Casino Offers and complimentary Instant Reward Certificates are nontransferable, not combinable with any other casino offers, discounts, special offers or promotions or Crown and Anchor offers and cannot be applied as credit toward reservation costs, such as taxes, fees and port expenses, online booking fees, if applicable, upgrades, additional guests, etc. and cannot be applied to any shipboard expenses. Recipients receiving the offer must sail in the redeemed stateroom.  These offers are nonrefundable and not replaceable if lost or stolen, altered, photocopied or reproduced in any manner.
