sontara1 Posted April 2, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 2, 2022 I am currently booked for a Concierge room on an upcoming World Cruise. The WC includes a one night hotel stay (and pre-cruise gala) for all guests; wondering if Concierge (or higher) categories are entitled to an ADDITIONAL night at the hotel, since an overnight stay is normally included. Dewre Posted April 5, 2022 #2 Share Posted April 5, 2022 Great question Keith which I do not know the answer to but am curious of the response. Without an additional hotel night the concierge class room on the world cruise would offer only a room on a higher deck, a few amenities in the room such as coffee maker, binoculars etc. and the ability to book dining and excursions a couple of months in advance for dining and excursions which may not fill up and are able to be booked by deluxe veranda rooms easily? RetiredandTravel Posted April 5, 2022 #3 Share Posted April 5, 2022 Concierge also upgrades the internet package (4 logins), probably valuable on a WC. We had a concierge room with a free pre cruise package (3 nights) and they told us the "free" night (4th night) couldn't be added on to the package. Not sure if its the same for you but your TA should know.
wcsdkqh Posted April 5, 2022 #4 Share Posted April 5, 2022 You should receive a small credit for the hotel night you won’t be using.
Tutuma Posted April 6, 2022 #5 Share Posted April 6, 2022 (edited) We are also in a concierge room on the World Cruise. It sure would be nice to have extra compensation since every category receives a complimentary room night pre cruise. Yes, an additional complimentary night would be the right and classy way to handle the matter. Wishful thinking???
