New to Oceania Questions

Hi,

We are sailing with Oceania for the first time (we normally cruise with Celebrity) and I had a couple of questions. I apologize in advance as I am sure these have been answered before.

1. Can onboard credit be used in the casino.

2. Our cruise is to Bermuda and we are docked for most of the cruise.  Will the casino on the ship be open at night?

3. I know you can bring wine onboard, but I was wondering if you can also bring a specific brand of non-alcoholic beer on board with you (and what quantity) or can you request that the cruise line provide it (for an extra charge of course).

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Two part answer here:

1.  You can bring pretty much anything and as much as you want on board. For alcoholic beverages: wine,  real beer, spirits those are supposed to be consumed in your room we're on your balcony Etc.

2. Any requests be it for Diet Mountain Dew, Coke Zero or a non-alcoholic beverage of any type can be made prior to the cruise. Either through your travel agent or direct with Oceania. I recommend making said request as far in advance as possible as their ability to supply certain items might be limited by the itinerary and last Supply Port.

1 no or yes with a fee

We just bring cash  ..keeps my spending down 😉

2 I believe it was open when we docked in Hamilton

3 not sure about  beers but for sodas you can ask a few weeks prior to the sailing

I believe Bermuda passed a new ruling a few years ago allowing cruise ship casinos to be open while docked there. I don't remember the particulars, and too lazy to look it up. Not sure if it's all lines or just select ones.

Oceania has an "Alcohol Policy" that discusses bringing up to 6 bottles of wine. I carried my 6 bottles onto Riviera on 12/13/21 and no one said a thing. By definition, "non-alcoholic" isn't alcohol, so I don't see how the policy would apply. But you can ask O....

Not Celebrity here. Bring whatever booze you want in O. Just obey the consumption rules of “in cabin” use except bottled wine can be brought to meals/public spaces for a $25/bottle fee.
Since your new here: I can say my old standard: “There’s a casino on the ship?”
