Marina Riviera 22/23 Guestroom Renovation

Received a small Oceania brochure yesterday and it shows images of new guestbook renovations for Marina and Riviera. Maybe it was sent out too early, no fanfare for Oceania Next-Next. Looks to be a nice fit between the smaller ships and Vista - a bit more traditional. On Riviera a few weeks ago and the rooms were a bit dreary - nothing was tattered or worn, just dated colors. Love the Penthouse winged headboard (drapery between the seating appears to be gone). Desk has been removed and a real dining table installed - what improvement! One item is the note “expanded walk-in shower” this sound like the tubs are being removed? Don’t really use the tub, but I’m sure a few people will be disappointed. Can’t wait to see more info and clearer photos.

I wonder when this is scheduled? Next on Marina Feb 23. Would have to occur before she departs Europe in the Fall. I think her schedule is full!

This is good news for us.  When we were on Marina in Nov/Dec 2021, the carpet had been replaced, and the upholstery on the loveseat.  But the loveseat was a literal rock to sit on.  Never sat on anything as hard as that on a ship.  Incredibly uncomfortable.
