Emerald Princess 15-night TA, COVID testing everyone on Day 3

A friend on the ship just let me know that they are testing all guests tomorrow, day 3 of their cruise. I think it’s a good thing.

ETA:  She said they were also tested in the terminal before boarding on Saturday. I think Princess has learned something from the increase in COVID cases on long cruises when they stopped mid-cruise testing.

We were not tested at the terminal prior to boarding the Emerald yesterday.   We are testing on Monday, supposedly to meet the requirements for Portugal.  Our CVP communicated this to us prior to boarding.

And here I was thinking they were doing it on Day 3 because the ship's still close enough to shore for those positive to swim back . . .

Kinda glad the Sapphire July HI cruise was cancelled; my enthusiasm for cruising has taken a hit thanks to your experience (and I mean that in a grateful way; I'm thankful for what you've shared with us).
