amyhphoto Posted April 19, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 19, 2022 So I’m thinking of traveling solo. Wondering what the move up process looks like as a solo passenger? Does anyone have experience with this?
cruzccl Posted April 19, 2022 #2 Share Posted April 19, 2022 I traveled solo in March on Summit. I was in an inside cabin and wanted to move up to concierge balcony. I placed my offer about a month before the cruise and they accepted the offer 2 days prior to cruise. I did have to pay as two people were sailing. So my initial bid was 150pp, ended up paying 300 total.

hrhdhd Posted April 20, 2022 #4 Share Posted April 20, 2022 I moved up from an OV to a balcony on the Constellation in December. As the PP says, you will pay 2x the per passenger cost, so be sure you know that before you bid.
Marie51 Posted April 20, 2022 #5 Share Posted April 20, 2022 I traveled solo on the Summit last week. Originally I was in a balcony cabin and I bid $50 for a concierge cabin and it was accepted. For some reason they only charged me the $50, I did not have to pay double.
