We have an upcoming short Carnival Miracle cruise -- our first time on this ship.
(Our May 2020 & September 2020 Miracle sailings were cancelled due to you-know-what.)

Phantom Theater Showtime:

Regardless of my own tastes, do you have any Must-See -- or Must-Miss --  Showtime productions or performers (not audience participation shows) that might be at the Phantom Theater?

Here are some relatively recent shows mentioned:

  • Showtime:  '80s Pop to the Max
  • Showtime:  Heart of Soul
  • Showtime:  88 Keys
  • Showtime:  Getaway Island

Thanks in advance for any of your opinions and comments!

I only attended one production show on our Miracle B2B last month, the 80's pop show. Due to technical difficulties they were not able to put on the regular show, so the performers sat on tall stools in a line on the stage and sang together, with featured performers stepping forward for their solos. No dancing.

Clearly the overall effect suffered from this situation--I'm sure that costumes and dancing would have helped to mask how subpar some of the performers were. The male lead in particular was... struggling. On the flip side, both the secondary male lead and secondary female lead were quite good.

Hopefully you will be able to see the shows as they are intended; should be a fun experience.

Found them to be very entertaining, with a lot of energy in all the shows.

We did a 5-day on the Miracle earlier this month and saw 88 keys, Getaway Island, and 80's Pop to the Max.  We enjoyed all of them but thought the 80's Pop to the Max was the best. Also really enjoyed the other musical groups and venues around the ship.

Thanks much everyone for your helpful feedback! 👍

We'll especially try to catch as many production/headliner shows in the Phantom Theater that we can, with "80's Pop to the Max" on the top of our list. 🙂
