Do we require to set up any 4 digit PIN code, which is for access your profile account using portal touchscreen on board?

The past medallion cruises we took there was no pin required, but it is now a new system, so I'll be interested to know as well.

Normally you type in your cabin number on the touchscreens around the ship.  Once you do that your picture pops up and you can use the large touchscreens.  Last time I used this was Oct 2021; they may have changed it since then

From the current Princess website and I got an email from Princess after my booking few weeks ago,

Medallion Pay & PIN Code

 

Few days ago I used my Iphone to enter Personal Information & Document, Order your Medallion and Medallion Pay.  All Green Line.

I can't find any place to enter PIN Code.

 

That's why I got confused whether I need to enter PIN code or not.

Perhaps you need it for medall>on pay  off the ship which we NEVER use!

You don't need it for normal use of the medallion on board

No, they still haven't included a pin number to access anything on the portals outside your cabin.

I check every cruise to see if things have changed and they haven't yet.

If someone finds you lost medallion they still have access to your cabin until you report it lost.

So, do you have to “Authorize” your credit card for medallion to be Ocean Ready …..for a minor child?

 

To me this seems like handing over the keys of your Corvette to  6 year old minor child. In your cabin! 
 

Can you set limits? Is this even legal?
