Tour starts at 7:30 but ship doesn’t get in until 11

Booked on the Equinox in Aug.  Looking at booking the “A Tulum Mayan and 5th Avenue Experience “ in Cozumel.  The description indicates the tours starts at 7:30 and last 8 hours.  According to the ship’s itinerary we don’t dock until 11.  Anyone ever taken this trip before?

Is this a ship sponsored excursion?  You need to check once on board to see if it is offered.   Or once you can see excursions on the app then look to see if it is available. If this is a private excursion via an independent vendor, you're SOL.

As long as the ship is in port for 10 hours or more, they'll probably offer this excursion.

Description sounds generic.

Just keep checking your specific cruise for booking or head to the shore excursion desk on embarkation and see if they are offering it.
