I didn’t eat tbe fries or the bread bowl. I won’t feed that stuff to the birds. I heard it’s bad for them. Junk food for them. But I have a piece of fish that fell on the table so I’m going to feed that to a sea gull.

Oh I felt like I was forgetting something. I meant to throw a couple additional pair of jeans in my suitcase since I’m going to be wearing them more often than on a Caribbean cruise. I forgot to. So on the way back I stopped and bought a pair at target and another pair at Ross. Brands I’m not used to but I got the sizes right. They both fit. The fitting rooms were closed so I had to go with my gut feeling on sizes but it worked out.

Okay I wanted to make a couple stops that weren’t too far away before calling it a night.

In the alley is this place that used to be a blacksmith shop. Back then Pearl Jam rented out the basement for their practice space. The Pearl Jam section of mopop. The room with the drums and guitars was modeled after this practice space.

Then two blocks away in another basement is nirvana’s old practice space. It has been changed into a bar called the screwdriver which is dedicated to nirvana and rock in general.

One thing I’ve  noticed. You don’t see bud light, coors light, Miller lite at the places I’ve gone to. It’s almost all local beer. They usually have one Mexican beer. Here it’s modelo.

I think the bartender was wondering if I was ok when I got up from the bar. I’m moving a little gingerly right now. Even with all of the public transportation I’ve taken I did 13 1/2 miles on foot today and another 22 floors after 10 miles yesterday and 25 floors.

I always find it interesting with the things places feel the need to take “covid precautions” for and the things they dont. Here fitness center, pool, meeting rooms, valet, business center…fine. Front door, restaurant, and bar…not fine.
