Rapid PCR test?

Generally speaking, PCR has a higher sensitivity and is considered a better test... Except you can test positive weeks after you're no longer contagious, which can prove problematic.

As of last week, PCR (not sure about 'rapid') was acceptable for Princess up to 3 days in advance.

Edit: Actually, just to avoid any problematic issues since my info is US-centric... Here's the link to Princess' page itself: https://www.princess.com/plan/cruise-with-confidence/cruise-health/frequently-asked-questions/

It should tell you on the website how long it takes to get the results for the tests.  The PCR at the Walgreens I use says up to 48 hours, the NAAT rapid antigen tests we have our results in under 2 hours.  We also test at home the day before so hopefully no surprises.
