Alaska Air baggage question

I have an Alaska Air credit card and one of the perks is one free checked bag for up to 6 people on the same ticket.  This is my first time to use the card in this manner, so how do I get the free bag check? Do I just show the credit card to the bag check person at the airport?

The benefit comes if the card holder is:

 

a) one of the passengers on the reservation (must be a single locator for all)

b) has their AS Mileage Plan number associated with the reservation

c) each person on the reservation is only checking one bag

@FlyerTalkerthanks for the info.  We comply with (a) and (c) in your reply. I just need to make sure the Mileage Plan number is on the reservations.

This reply may be way past the useful date for the OP...but I'm pretty sure that the actual ticket needs to have been purchased with that credit card.

Nope.  I usually buy the ticket with another card, yet get the bag benefit.  More points with my Amex for flight purchases.

 

Unless that rule has changed recently.
