Cancel for any reason insurance

I’m confused, if I have to cancel for a medical reason A Doctor’s report is needed in order to get cash reimbursement, that has always been the policy so what’s the big deal with cancel for any reason.

The CFAR coverage allows you cancel for any reason you want but only gives you FCC instead of a cash reimbursement. Princess has one of the best CFAR policies in that they give 100% FCC, whereas most others only give 75%, maybe 90% if you pay a premium.

If your doctor says it’s okay to travel but you just don’t want to, you would need Cancel for any Reason coverage. But it’s really expensive.
