Yeah, we stopped there a few years ago on the Jade, and from memory I think the shuttle went to Tynemouth.

The bus dropped us off in Central Station with 3.2 hours on our own in New Castle … off to Grey  Monument

After the tour (ended at 1:15PM). I walked to the Royal Quay Outlets … interesting shops at rock bottom prices.  I liked the NEXT outlet.  Got myself a nice jumper !  The free shuttle does not go there so you have to walk!  It takes about 15 minutes.
