Panorama spa cabin

We were offered an unbelievable price to the spa balcony. We got room 12218. We have never been in this category. Any thoughts on these cabins? I watched some videos on the cabins. Looks pretty nice. Can I use all the fitness classes for me since my husband is allergic to exercise? Lol!

If you were offered an unbelievable price and you want/like to use the thermal spa as well as it being a balcony it sounds like a deal. I think most people's thoughts are it's good and no need to add anything.  Probably a quiet area like other spa cabin sections on the ships. The Panorama spa is clean simple and enjoyable.

Thank you for posting - I was wondering the same about the Panorama spa.  It's a long story, but through some confusion, we ended up in a spa cabin for the same price as a similar cabin not located in the spa area.

I'm totally not a spa person - in approximately 20 Carnival cruises, I've never been to the spa.  But I figured I might as well make the most of this opportunity.  So I'm looking for advice/suggestions, etc.  What is included in a spa cabin room that we should be sure to take advantage of?

I'll share what I have been able to find by searching the topics here...

  • although these rooms included a pass to the "thermal suites", MANY people advise the thermal suites on Vista class ships are not as nice as the thermal suites on the Dream class ships (good to know, but since I've never been to the thermal suites on any ship, I won't be too disappointed).
  • As you mentioned, a couple free classes per person (I'm not finding that you can use your husbands classes if he doesn't, but great question).
  • I have also read that a complimentary body composition analysis is included.
  • as well as a complimentary scrub kit.

I haven’t been to the spa yet either, but I am most looking forward to the heated loungers, and the infared sauna. I don’t mind that there isn’t a T-pool. I’m going in Oct, so I’m sure the first and last sea day it will be nice to have an indoor hot tub, even if it’s not a T-pool. There are YouTube videos that will walk you through the thermal suites, so you can see what all they have. Otherwise, I think you listed everything that’s included, except for the cabin amenities.

Thank you so much. When I was on Princess Majestic as a solo cruiser I tried the Enclave which seems similar. I loved it. When I went back two weeks later with my husband, he knew I enjoyed it. He won money in the casino so he booked the week for us. He’s not a spa person, but it was nice to get in the giant hot tub when it was chilly. I loved his reaction when we went in the hot and hotter rooms!!

Again thank you. I looked at the videos.

It’s a nice quiet area even though you will always get the door slammers at night.

Agree!!! We love how quiet that area is but we always seem to be next to a slammer...

First day won't be to bad in my experience. You will have following seas (and winds). Last day is a completely different animal and you will be heading home smack into the south bound Alaskan current and south bound winds, so if the ship is making 15 knots and running into a 15 knot wind (I'll let you do the math. Cabo will be hot and HUMID until late October and rain is a possibility. If your sailing is Oct 22, we'll be watching you sail by from our timeshare in Cabo (Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach). It's just south of lighthouse mountain. Trivia - just north of lighthouse mountain (Cabo) is where they filmed the beach scenes for the movie Troy. Hopefully you won't be dodging tropical storms/hurricanes. It's the tail end of hurricane season but west coast storms during Sept/Oct tend to hug the coastline more closely. July/Aug - they tend to head toward open water (and Hawaii).

Thanks for all the info! I’m not a fan of the wind when it’s lower 70’s, so I like that I’ll be able to enjoy and inside hot tub!
