getting cash from the casino

I understand that I can obtain up to $2,000 in cash per day by using my credit card backed Sea Pass card.

Can I get this cash in any denominations?

If not, is there somewhere on board that I can change larger denomination bills for smaller?

Thanks

Hi RLM !

Within reason, I am sure you can get what you need at the Casino. If for any reason that does not work for you... you can always get change at the ship's Bank.

At any rate, you will not have a problem. Enjoy your Cruise !

The cashier's cage at the casino has always accommodated out requests for specific dollar denominations without any problem. But as mentioned in the previous post, you can also go through the ship's bank as well.

They are getting more strict on cash in the casino. If you are planning to use the cash in the casino, not a problem. They will ask. I would recommend bringing your bank card and using the ATM...just in case you cannot get it in the casino.

On Constellation, one cashier gave us some grief about getting cash (a whole $100)at the casino. She said it was against "policy" to give cash unless the guest was using it in the casino. ( I don't think that's actually Celebrity's policy; this clerk obviously runs the whole ship  )

Another cashier never blinked an eye or asked us any questions, and gave us $200 the following week. (We were b2b)

I used my sea card to get chips at the tables without a problem. If you are not planning to use most if not all in the casino, then please do not abuse this privledge and ruin it for others.
