Captains Club Discounts after purchase but before sailing?

Hi there, so I booked our cruise and upgraded our internet/drink package. In the mean time I have become a member of Captains Club and by the time we sail I will have 6-7 club points (from their power up opportunities). Do you know if they will retroactively apply the discount if those are earned prior to sailing?

Probably not.  I think you would have to cancel and then re-book once you are on board.

5% off drink package and 10% off wifi. 
 

So you don’t actually know? I would think they would offer it as cruise credit on board, which is why I am asking.

Did you upgrade to Elevate or Indulge?  If so that is a package price and right now cheaper than individually upgrading .

The only way to get the loyalty discount is to call to purchase the upgrades. You might be able to cancel and re-book the upgraded but there will not be any credit onboard or automatic adjustments to what you already purchased. 
 

If both people in your cabin are upgrading internet and the drink package, you may want to consider upgrading to the Indulge instead of upgrading each individually as it is likely cheaper.

Prmssk is right.  You would need to cancel what you ordered and then rebook by phone with the Captains Club in order to get those discounts

If you cancel your upgrades and rebook them, you will be charged based on current prices. With the recent price increases, depending on how far back you purchased the upgrades it may actually end up costing you more after your CC discount.

I did not know they were available separately. We upgraded with Indulge.

There is no loyalty discount for upgrading via Indulge. You are already getting a discount over upgrading internet and the beverage package separately.
