  1. On our last cruise my planner loaded 3 weeks prior to sailing, this cruise no so much. Is there a typical “load date”? And yes, I have “refreshed”.
  2. There was an after hours $4.95 fee for standard cabins that was waived for Aqua on top of the extended menu.
  3. Considering I booked Aqua Class, which one of the perks was free room service anytime, I think I have a legitimate leg in the game.
  4. Found this on a video that was recently on YT, for those that may be interested in what is “free” and what has a service charge. This is what I was seeking as the app does not tell you what is and is not included. These are screen shots from a video so may not have the best clarity.
  5. We will be docking at Havensight on a Sunday ~8am. I would love to get to Annaberg plantation on St John and explore. As I see it now our best option would be taxi to Red Hook, ferry, taxi to Annaberg and then reverse. Main questions: how hard would it be to get a taxis at Annaberg? How much time should I allow for the trip back to Havensight? Thanks!
  6. Look at the offerings between aqua and the regular menu…..they are exactly the same. I asked for something specific and am aware of that the app shows.
  7. The $10 is on items outside of the continental breakfast which is mainly coffee/tea/juice, fruits and pastries. Aqua uses to be completely free, even late night hours.
  8. No, it is not. A “general” menu is on the app but it is exactly the same as the regular menu. Aqua has ALWAYS had a different menu in the cabins.
  9. One of the additional perks of Aqua was free room service with an expanded menu. Has anyone sailed recently since they started the $10 room service charge and can share the menu?
  10. It’s not an active volcano and they offer it as an excursion on other trips.
  11. As a follow up to this, Celebrity got back to me regarding a private excursion, to the tune of $760!! Ummmmm, nope.
  12. As I told another poster, this will be a crunch for time due to the length of time it takes to hike. This is one excursion I would want a guarantee return to the ship.
  13. This is a 6 hour when we are on shore for 8. I am not running the risk of missing the ship. That would be a possibility if this was shorter but not in this instance.
  14. Hi there. I have contacted Celebrity twice regarding this with no answer. They offer the volcano hike as an excursion but for some reason on my trip in March it is not listed as an option. Does anyone possibly know why? Yes, I know it is strenuous. That is not an issue.
  15. I will pay for the premium if need be, but if not then I will spend that $200+ elsewhere. It’s a question about where it falls, plain and simple.
  16. The difference between the packages is $15 a day, which I could care less about. My specific question is what level it falls under. We can easily drink though that extra $15 if it is more than $2 per drink. Bar charges for a single Jameson can range from $12-20 depending on what city you live in. So that may be $1 up charge or it could be $6 up charge per drink. Seeing as they do not list the single price of Jameson then one would never know if it is $10 or $15 a drink. My husband can drink double Jameson on the rocks all day and I can drink vodka all day, have a problem? But again, that was not my question.
  17. Exactly as asked, On the Celebrity page it does not even list Jameson but in my app on my upcoming cruise in Sky Lounge it is listed in the Classic package. I could have sworn it was Premium on the cruise I just got off. Can anyone help? Thanks!
  18. We were on 11 and it was not noisy at all. We were in one of the 5 aft cabins above sunset and below the movie. If we sat on our balcony we could hear people below us and sometimes the movie above but inside the cabin it was quiet.
  19. SHIP: Infinity, sail date Aug 6, 2022 CABIN #: 1130 DECK #: 11 CLASS: Aqua AREA: Aft above sunset lounge BED NEAR: Bathroom, couch near balcony door QUIET?: Room yes, balcony at times could hear people below and above. BALCONY VIEW: Spectacular, unobstructed WIND A PROBLEM?: No SOOT A PROBLEM?: No. PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: Balcony door was finicky, had to push on it to get it to slide. Other times it slid open when you did not want it to. Light from staircase always on balcony (never dark). Balcony could be viewed from staircase and also sunset lounge. Would 100% still re-book if available. Glass shower door, step for shaving. Aqua for us was worth the extra money, loved the bedding and the bathrobes. Room service breakfast on the balcony in a robe is the way to go.
  20. Okay, I have calmed down. 8 pm finally got a proctor (that’s 2 hours, 5 emails and waiting on hold for 1.5 hours) and have our results. Dude was great, test was easy and I got my results within 15 minutes. I guess when you actually get someone it works great!
  21. FYI, SUUUUUUUUUPER pissed off with Onpoint right now. They never showed up for my appointment then has the gall to send me a message stating I never showed. I have been on hold with them for close to an hour. I would not recommend.
  22. You said the upgraded wifi was abysmal, is it enough for listening to Pandora or Amazon music in our room? Or are there options for listening providers by the ship?
  23. Side note, a flat iron (used for hair) works in a pinch for clothing and is an allowable item.
  24. Waited last week for 20 minutes, person who answered was having issues with the headset and disconnected me, called back and waited over an hour before someone picked up.
