The Collie Posted June 10, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 10, 2022 (edited) I just booked the 7 night cruise of Seattle. It was just a cheap interior cabin for myself and the total price was under $300. I just dummy booked and the same cruise in the same category is double (essentially it looks like I didn't get the loner surcharge). I only went on a Carnival cruise once years ago so no status. Rare craig01020 Posted June 10, 2022 #2 Share Posted June 10, 2022 (edited) Don't sweat it. I just booked an oceanview 7-night from Seattle for my wife and I and paid less than $700. They'll make money when we're onboard! Edited June 10, 2022 by craig01020
Guest BasicSailor Posted June 10, 2022 #3 Share Posted June 10, 2022 If you're booked, don't ask questions until it's necessary 😁

mz-s Posted June 10, 2022 #5 Share Posted June 10, 2022 It's possible you had a one time use offer on your account. I get those often.

I have gotten much better about paying attention to exactly what I have available and am booking ever since I realized this. I even ask Carnival how many uses each offer I might use is good for. For the OP, they have so many insanely good offers floating around even o people who have never spent a dime onboard or in the casino... even if yours really was an error, I can't imagine that anyone would be able to look at your account and think, 'oh, they should NOT have this offer! Rescind it!!' I think you were intended to have this offer, and don't think they want to give ANY unnecessary refund to someone who is willing to sail.
sgttami Posted June 11, 2022 #7 Share Posted June 11, 2022 I never heard of a "mistake fare." My casino offers are taxes and port charges only and I've done and have newly booked 14 day Journey's cruises for just about $300.00 (including DOU everywhere). If you have a booking number and it's paid for, I can't see where they would tell you they made a mistake on pricing. Just keep taking advantage of their "mistakes".....Smooth sailing!
