Car Rentals at Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale

I'll be arriving at Port Everglades from a transatlantic Cruise and have a late night flight out from Fll to San Juan, Puerto Rico. 

Is there any Car Rental Company operating from Port Everglades ?

I'd need to spend the day in Fort Lauderdale, but do not want to be stucked in the airport all day !

Nothing inside the port...however several to choose from very near by and most will have a shuttle service to their rental office. We've used Thrifty/Dollar and Budget.

 

You can also opt to take a taxi (flat rate no meter and should be around $12-15) to FLL where there are several companies to choose from and then easy to return the rental there before your flight out.

Book with the company that can give you the best rate.

A cab from Port Everglades to FLL will run you approximately fifteen to twenty dollars. Car rental center is a large building attached to the airport. All major car rental companies have an office there.

Guess i'll pre check the lugagges onboard so they be taken directly to the airline at FLL and then take a cab to FLL and pick up the car .

Does you cruiseline offer luggage valet ?...RCI hasn't since pre-covid.
