LondonCa11ing Posted June 21, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 21, 2022 Hello! I searched around for an answer to this and nothing I found was conclusive, so I'm hoping the CC crew will have some insights. I will be traveling with two others aboard the Queen Mary 2 in the same stateroom. It's my first time sailing and it's very exciting. However, we would like to know if it's possible to link and use different credit cards to pay for our own expenses separately (and privately) as we go, rather than everything being charged to "the room" and having one credit card to settle it? Has anyone tried this and, if so, how did it work?
exlondoner Posted June 21, 2022 #2 Share Posted June 21, 2022 This is too vague to be very helpful, but I think I have on occasion been asked after they've done my credit card details at check-in, 'Is that for both of you?' Or something like that. This would imply it is possible.
carlmm Posted June 21, 2022 #3 Share Posted June 21, 2022 In my experience, yes, each person can link a different credit card to his or her account and cruise card. 1
Chart Room Princess Posted June 21, 2022 #4 Share Posted June 21, 2022 Yes it can be done. When I travel with my sister in the same cabin we each register a different credit card to our ship cards. That way, whatever we each charge to our room will go on our individual credit cards. 3

You just managed this on the day at check-in .
