Multiple Credit Cards per Room?

Hello! I searched around for an answer to this and nothing I found was conclusive, so I'm hoping the CC crew will have some insights.

I will be traveling with two others aboard the Queen Mary 2 in the same stateroom. It's my first time sailing and it's very exciting. However, we would like to know if it's possible to link and use different credit cards to pay for our own expenses separately (and privately) as we go, rather than everything being charged to "the room" and having one credit card to settle it? Has anyone tried this and, if so, how did it work?

This is too vague to be very helpful, but I think I have on occasion been asked after they've done my credit card details at check-in, 'Is that for both of you?' Or something like that. This would imply it is possible.

Yes, no problem, done this many times when I've shared a cabin with a travel companion.

You just managed this on the day at check-in .
