Cruise documents

We are leaving on a Ponant cruise in Scotland on July 27th - does anyone know when the documents are likely to arrive? No sign of them yet.

Ponant has resumed sending paper tickets and we found that they arrive about one to two weeks before the cruise.

 

You’ll receive the tickets, a cruise booklet, some luggage tags and a pouch that holds them all.

My Ponant 'travel book' arrived about 2 weeks before embarkation. Includes promotional booklet, luggage tags and health questionnaire.

 

Do check the embarkation information. To my surprise, the ship was at  Hafnarfjorour, not Reykjavik's old harbor. My taxi arrived at the wrong gate. Access to the ship was via Fornubudir, not Óseyrarbraut as specified in the travel book. 🙄

Assume you don’t need the paper tickets to board? 
We are spending 2 weeks in the Uk prior to flying to Norway to board the cruise. 
Obviously won’t have luggage tags for bags either.

We’ve never shown a paper ticket. The greeter just checks us off against the list.

Yeah I didn’t think so, I don’t think we had anything when we went to Antarctica

That doesn't allow much time for things to get lost in the mail!

Yeah. They ship by FedEx standard overnight, so at least you will know where it was lost.

Today, the only paper we showed were vaccination certificates and COVID documents.
