How soon after a cruise's final payment date will upgrade offers arrive?

Exactly, or paid for the upgrade and didn't mention it to their significant other. "Oh look honey, we got a free upgrade! What a surprise". 😇

My husband can lie to me anytime about a "free upgrade".  

We had an upgrade offer on our first cruise, had booked inside, upgraded to a balcony.  Since then we've booked balconies and haven't had an upgrade offer again.  We booked an inside for our November cruise, interested to see if we get an offer (it's fine if we don't, I understand how this works)
