miyanc Posted June 27, 2022 #1 Share Posted June 27, 2022 Headed to aruba on the allure in Oct. I am a mild coffee drinker. So mild that I am asking about coffee on my vacation. I have come a long way from "whatever coffee good for me", to my own weighing, grinding and pour over for every cup. I have enjoyed kona coffee at a farm in Hawaii and drink 100% blue mountain ish coffee in Jamaica. So I know aruba, labadee, curaucas are not known as coffee hubs, at least not by me, but columbia and Brazil are nearer then my house so I though I would ask. I am sure every right off the ship, or even on the ship, sells those same brands, but anything to note in aruba for coffee?
EatonDoolittle Posted June 27, 2022 #2 Share Posted June 27, 2022 Aruba is desert, so not at all conducive to coffee growing.

I am aware, also not very tall which is required for coffee. But I just thought if it's closer to where coffee is grown, maybe they had stuff there. Then again I am not sure how much steaming hot drinks people drink in the tropics.
Rare crewsweeper Posted June 28, 2022 #4 Share Posted June 28, 2022 There is good coffee in Aruba. Dutch tradition, but it's imported. Head to Aruba Coffee Experience in downtown. Or Santos Coffee with Soul in front of the Casa del Mar Beach Resort in Eagle Beach, really good iced coffee..
