Solo in Nassau

Has anyone, specifically female, done anything on their own (not cruise sponsored)? More than likely I will stay on the ship but I would rather go to a decent beach but I'll be solo. Not sure how safe I will be.

We have walked to the beach but to be on the safe side, take a shared taxi to Atlantis and you can go to the beach that is near there.  In Nassau, the rate is much better if you are willing to share the ride.  Most of the taxis are vans, so unless you ask for one for yourself, you will likely be in a group.

Thanks! I don't mind being with a group in the cab. I just didn't want to walk to far alone.
