Ports of Siracusa Sicily Italy and Toulon Provence France

Recommended Posts

I'm not familiar with these ports and need to know how to plan.  Are there things to do close (walkable) or is a tour recommended?  If you've been to either can you share you're experiences.

Syracusa has a wonderful ancient Roman and Greek theatre to see.  It is also very nearby beautiful Ortygia ,  with a lovely market to eat at.   We booked a private tour and also visited  Noto and a nearby winery with Nero D Avila.  A wonderful spot
