Thanks for your information. We will be on the July 25 and Aug 4 Star cruises. Is there an "observation lounge" or a place to sit inside and view the beautiful scenery?

Not really.  You have to look out the sides.

Tony is onboard right now? I thought it was Manny (Emmanuouil)...?

I’d written to Klaus, who replied copying Richard J., and Tony who wrote back welcoming us.  May have changed, but I think it’s TW.

Ok, just confirmed it's still Manny onboard, and Tony will be joining August 14th.

He copied Richard Janicki? Sadly, Richard passed away last month unexpectedly. Very sad.

It was in the 40's.  But the wind chill coupled with the occasional rain made it feel very cold.

Thank you for the clarification.

Iceland is not really very cold (given how far north it is, the temps are mild), but it has very poor weather: a combination of cold, sleet, and wind.

Not sure what you mean by Concierge.  There is a Guest Services desk open 24 hours.  Unofrtunately not all of the crew here were knowledgeable.

Were there people selling excursions to the Blue Lagoon in Reykjavikat the pier. Independents??

Maybe you remember the opening hours of the atrium cafe? I want to understand whether it will be possible to drink good coffee in the morning. Thank you!

It opened at 6:30 am.

Thanks for all the useful information. I'm boarding on the 25th July.

Was there any kind of priority boarding in Reykjavik for latitudes members? Or was it just based on arrival times at the terminal?

I remember seeing a priority boarding lane but I think it was for suites.

Awesome!!! Glad to hear the positive thoughts on Iceland. Although on the Prima, can't wait for our Reykjavik to Southampton cruise for next year!

me too for my mid August 2023.  I like the idea of starting in Iceland so that I can spend a couple of days in Reykjavic.  Just hope pretesting is over and done with by then

There is a priority area that handles both Latitudes members and suite/VIP guests.  Once you get through security and Covid paperwork check the priority check-in is on the right side.
