Crown and Anchor Status Change

Recommended Posts

No.  The new member level is effective after the points for that cruise are posted, typically 5 to 7 days after completion of the cruise.  I do like the Carnival method where if you reach a new tier at any point in the next cruise you board that cruise with the new tier level.  But RCI doesn't do it that way.

The only (and totally random) exception to this is if you attain Pinnacle status on a cruise. In that case, the Loyalty Ambassador may choose to upgrade your status while on board - but that is not a given either.

A quasi-exception is if you earn the new level on a B2B. If you earn that level on a leg other than the last one, the loyalty ambassador can (and likely will) bump you up for the remaining leg(s).
